Set 3 - Along the border

Looking south at the Mexican port of entry at Lukeville, north of Sonoyta Mexico. Four major highway segments intersect at Sonoyta, a mile south of the Border. Mexican highway 2 runs parallel to the southern border of Organ Pipe National Monument. (See detailed map).

 

Just east of Lukeville, AZ, looking south across vehicle barrier into Mexico. The vehicle barrier was partially installed in 2003/2004, but not completed due to lack of funding.

Looking east toward the Mexican port of entry at Lukeville on Highway 85, on Puerto Blanco Drive. The southern portion of the Puerto Blanco Drive loop road parallels the border.

 

Looking west along Puerto Blanco Drive on the border west of Lukeville, roughly at the middle of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument's southern border.
